Report summary
Southern Energy LNG Phase 2 is the second phase of Southern Energy S.A.’s (SESA’s) under-construction floating LNG terminal in the Gulf of San Matias in Rio Negro, Argentina. The phase will deploy Golar LNG’s (Golar’s) 3.5 mmtpa MK II FLNG unit from late 2028 under a 20-year charter agreement. The unit will operate alongside Southern Energy LNG Phase 1 – which will deploy Golar’s 2.45 mmtpa Hilli FLNG unit from 2027 under a similar charter agreement.
