Report summary

Tongyeong began operations in September 2002. It is owned and operated by the state-owned integrated utility, KOGAS, which owns the entire transmission network and has a monopoly on wholesale gas sales in South Korea. The EPC contract was awarded to Daelim and Daewoo Corporation and the terminal began construction in December 1996.
