Tortue is a giant deepwater gas field straddling the border of Senegal and Mauritania. Development of the field is currently proposed to be carried out in two phases. Phase 1, a 2.45 mmtpa development which took FID in Dec 2018 and is expected to come online in 2023. And Phase 2, which as of 2020 is expected to be another FLNG vessel with a capacity of around 2.5 mmtpa.
