FLNG projects are strangely absent from the wave of LNG supply about to be launched. Developers are focusing on major large onshore projects and while FLNG can be competitive they are looking at alternative ways to manage cost risk. This presentation explores these topics and analyses how and where FLNG projects can be competitive in the future. Giles Farrer, Director LNG Research, gave this presentation at the Flame FLNG Global conference in Amsterdam on 14th May.
