Jiangsu economic outlook: H1 2015
Report summary
China’s second largest provincial economy, Jiangsu is also one of China’s most wealthy provinces in terms of GDP per capita. Its economy benefits from the presence of high value-added industries and geographic proximity to Shanghai. However, Jiangsu's GDP growth has slowed in recent years and will continue to grow at a modest pace going forward. Overall, we forecast its real economy to grow at a CAGR of 4.9% over the forecast period.
