Chanderiya (ISF) zinc smelter

The Chanderiya ISF smelter was commissioned in late 1991 to treat zinc and lead concentrates from the Rampura-Agucha Mine. Capacity at commissioning was 70kt/a zinc and 35kt/a lead. The complex also includes a lead refinery, a precious metals refinery, bismuth and mercury plants, and a plant to produce copper cathode from copper dross arising from lead refining.
