The Jinjian refinery was commissioned in 2003 with an initial capacity of 20kt/a pf copper cathode. A 40kt/a expansion was started in 2005 and was commissioned by the end of 2006. The cost of the expansion was approximately $10M. The capacity as of 2010 was 100kt/a of copper cathode.
