The deposit is a silver-lead-zinc low to intermediate sulphidation epithermal deposit with relatively complex mineralogy. The project is to follow a conventional open-pit mining and flotation process. The 22.5ktpd concentrator is to produce marketable lead and zinc concentrates for 18 years. The flotation tailings will be dry stacked. The lead and zinc concentrates are expected to be shipped through the port of Matarani, 632km away. The project is located in the Puno region of southern Peru at an average altitude of 4,950 metres above sea level. The city of Cusco is 160km northwest from the project site. In June 2018, the project was fully permitted.
