Chang Shan Hao (217) mine, commonly abbreviated to CSH 217 is an open pit operation that utilises conventional mining methods. The mine is located in Inner Mongolia, China. Low grade ore is processed using heap-leaching method. Expansion of heap leaching and processing system in year 2014 enabled doubling of mine capacity to 60kt/d, which has shorten mine life. Further deep exploration program is currently underway.
