Enchi gold mine project
Report summary
The Enchi project is being advanced by Newcore Gold Ltd. Key shareholders in Newcore Gold include Kinross and Sandstorm Gold. A preliminary economic assessment (PEA) study on the project was completed in Q2, 2015 and updated in December 2015 to reflect a contractor-operated operation. The study is based on an 9 year open pit operation with an ore throughput capacity of 3Mt/a. The ore will be treated via heap leaching with the final product being a gold doré.
