Report summary
The Fresnillo Saucito underground mine is located in Zacatecas, Mexico. The bulk of mining production consists of mine development (35-40%), long hole drilling (30-35%) and overhand cut and fill (25-35%). Waste rock is used for backfill. By mid-2016 the Jarillas vein represented 80% of the mine production (around 6kt/d) and the balance was provided by the Sauctio and Mezquite veins.
