Report summary
Lithium prices continued to decrease at an accelerated pace in April. The two key drivers are: * destocking across the battery supply chain leading to lower lithium demand * increasing supply We forecast the decrease in lithium demand to be short-lived and that demand will return to the market later this year with indications already in place. The demand profile will be met with a continued growth in supply which will prevent prices from returning to previous highs.
