Glogow I copper refinery
Report summary
The Glogow I refinery was commissioned as a state enterprise in 1971 to treat anodes from the Glogow I smelter commissioned at the same time, and was expanded to a capacity of 190kt/a cathode in 1974. It is located at Glogow, approximately 100km south-west of Poznan. In the early 1990's approximately 30kt/a cathode from the refinery was converted into wirebar in an onsite plant.
