A 155km access road was built to connect the mine to the town of Dease Lake. The mine operated on a fly-in/fly-out basis. The mine operated on a very short season from May to October due to the weather. Repadre Capital Corp was granted a 2% NSR royalty in 1993, on production from the property in return for a loan worth C$1.0M. The mine was subject to NSR royalties totalling 4%. Kodiak B and C and Grizzly deposits are only subject to a 2% NSR royalty.
