Guangxi Other zinc mine
Report summary
The Guangxi other mines are the combined production from numerous small mines in the province which we do not include as individual assets in our cost service. Zinc-lead ore deposits in Guangxi are mainly concentrated in north and east of the province. Hechi region, located in northwest of Guangxi province, has the most abundant resources. At some areas of Guangxi province, the zinc and lead ore deposit is associated with antimony and tin. Silver content is also high. There are a few large zinc-lead mines in the surrounding region notably Tongkeng and Gaofeng in Guangxi province. Mining activity located in national parks has been prohibited in recent years. Underground mining is the only mining method used by small scale operations.
