Ozernoye zinc mine project
Report summary
The Ozernoye Project is located in the Republic of Buryatia in the Russian Federation, it can be accessed by a three hour drive on a main highway from Ulan Ude and an additional hour on gravel roads. Production is expected to commence in 2023 and reach a milling capacity of 6Mt/a in one year, producing on average 600kt/a zinc and 80kt/a lead concentrates. Total capital expenditure is estimated to reach nearly US$700 million. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
