The Halilaga project is a low-grade greenfield copper-gold porphyry deposit. The accompanying analysis is based on an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment, study whose results were published in Q1, 2015. The study envisages a 14 year operation with an average mill throughput rate of 25kt/a. Mining will be by conventional open pit methods with an assumed life-of-mine stripping ratio of 1.3:1. The ore will be treated in a typical differential flotation plant producing a gold-copper concentrate. Payable copper and gold production over the 14 year mine life is expected to be 780Mlb Cu and 925koz of Au.
