Heva-Hosco (Joanna) gold mine project
Report summary
The Heva-Hosco property is located in the Joannes Township, 20km east of Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec. The property is comprised of the two distinct deposits, the free-milling Heva deposit and the refractory ore Hosco deposit. Heva-Hosco is planned as an open pit operation utilising conventional mining methods. The process plant is expected to comprise flotation/filtration tanks, an autoclave recovery process and carbon in pulp (CIP) adsorption. Mine life has been estimated at 13 years, with average annual gold production estimated to be between 100 - 130koz. Limited work has been undertaken on the deposits since 2014. Until further information is available, the accompanying analysis therefore assumes a tentative start date of 2025.
