Report summary

Hubei is located in the middle reach of China's Yangtze River. The ore is magnetite and mineralisation style is contact metasomatic-hydrothermal. The region has the country's highest ore grades with Fe content ranging from 40% to 60%. Ore from this region typically has a high copper content. The key company in Hubei is Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, which is an SOE owned by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC).
