Operated by Tibet Shigatse Zhabuye Lithium High-Tech Co Ltd, Zabuye is a lithium brine operation located in Tibet, China. Zabuye is a carbonate-type Salt Lake. Its lithium concentration ranks second highest in the world. With a low Mg/Li ratio, this allows the operator to directly apply Solar Pond Precipitation technology to produce lithium carbonate at a relatively low processing cost. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
