Jerritt Canyon gold mine
Report summary
The Jerritt Canyon property comprises 3 producing underground mines (Starvation Canyon, Smith and SSX-Steer), mill facilities and ore stockpiles, located in Elko County, Nevada. Access to the property is via State Highway 225, located 45 miles from the mine access road. A dry-milling/fluidised-bed roasting circuit treats the highly carbonaceous / refractory ore and is often blended with lower grade stockpile ore to improve the overall metallurgical performance.
