Report summary
Keetac is a surface mine owned and operated by US Steel in Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range, near the city Keewatin. Output from the operation is a pellet product which is sold to third-party customers in the US and Canada. In the past, Keetac's pellets were primarily supplied internally to US Steel's mills. Keetac's production is increase it's production in 2024. After a cash cost increase of 3% in 2023, we expect it to keep on the sidelines going forward.
