Kwinana - Lithium refinery

Operated by Tianqi Lithium, the Kwinana lithium refinery produces lithium carbonate and is located in Western Australia, Australia. The plant was joint venture project between Tianqi Lithium and IGO. The plant now processes spodumene concentrate feedstocks from the Greenbushes mine in Western Australia, in which Tianqi Lithium is a joint owner. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
