Operated by Tianqi Lithium, the Zhangjiagang lithium refinery produces lithium carbonate and is located in Jiangsu province, China. The plant was originally established by Galaxy Resources, before being acquired by Tianqi Lithium in 2015. The plant now processes spodumene concentrate feedstocks from the Greenbushes mine in Western Australia, in which Tianqi Lithium is a joint owner. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
