Asset Report
La Arena gold mine
Report summary
La Arena is an epithermal deposit with gold oxides and a porphyry deposit with Cu-Au sulphides. The gold oxides are exploited through one open pit and processed by leaching and Merrill Crowe plant to recover Au dore. Gold production commenced in 2011 and is expected to be exhausted by 2023. A potential mill operation processing copper and gold bearing ore from the underlying sulphide deposit is a possibility for the future.
