Liuzhou Non-ferrous zinc smelter
Report summary
Liuzhou Nonferrous Metals Smelting Company was formed in 1993 and its main operation was zinc smelting, but other activities included inorganic chemicals and rolling of nonferrous metals. Zinc smelting was conducted on a single factory site located on the Liujiang river. Capacity for zinc slab production from 2005 was 40kt/a. Production during the 2000's was erratic and in 2011, due to poor economic conditions the smelter stopped operations.
