Meishan Iron and Steel is an HRC producer controlled previously by Baosteel Group, now by Baowu Steel Group, after Baosteel Group and Wuhan Iron and Steel merged in 2016. It is located in Meishan, a southern suburb of Nanjing city, Jiangsu province on the bank of the Yangtze River. Meishan produces high-quality HRC and silicon steel widely used in pipelines, automobiles, appliance and power industries.
