Report summary
The Montagne d'Or deposit is part of the Paul Isnard Gold Project in French Guiana. Following the completion of a feasibility study by Nordgold in March 2017, it acquired a 55% in the project from Columbus Gold. The project will be developed as an open pit mine with an estimated mine life of 12 years. Over the first ten years, gold production will average 237koz/a. The initial capital cost is US$535 million, and life of mine sustaining capital is US$292 million inclusive of a US$61 million closure provision.
