Report summary

Mount Lyell is an underground mine and mill operation operated by Sesa Sterlite s Copper Mines of Tasmania (CMT) division located in western Tasmania Australia. The mine suspended operations in January 2014. Final product was a copper concentrate which was railed to Port Burnie and shipped to the company's Tuticorin copper smelter in India . The mine operated at approximately 2Mt ore per year with grades of 1.2% Cu.
