Report summary
Mount Morgan Tailings is a gold and copper tailings treatment project located at the historic mining camp of Mount Morgan, 38 kilometres south-west of Queensland, Australia. The area has been subject to various technical studies in recent years, reviewing different processing options, as soluble copper in the remaining tails is problematic. The project was called off on March 23 2018 as the company was not able to achieve meaningful outcomes while key stakeholders diagreed on terms to increase project returns to an accpetable level.
