Oued Amizour (Tala Hamza) zinc mine project
Report summary
The Oued Amizour project is located in the Wilaya of Bejaia, north-east of Algeria. The project contains several lead-zinc deposits, of which the most important is the Tamla Hamza deposit. An updated definitive feasibility study (DFS) was completed in 2018. The underhand drift and fill mining method is being proposed and and ore will be processed in a conventional differential flotation concentrator to produce separate zinc and lead concentrate.The 2022 start-up date in the accompanying analysis is only indicative.
