Report summary
Peak (Cobar) gold mine is an underground gold mining operation in the Cobar region of western New South Wales, Australia. The mine is 100% owned by Aurelia Metals and has historically produced around 90koz of gold per year. As well as gold dore, the mine also produces copper concentrate, which is sold to Asian smelters. By-product credits are high with the mine transitioning to produce more zinc and lead. Production of gold has however fallen quite significantly in the past couple of year from approximately 100koz in 2018 to 41koz in 2019.
