Report summary
Pinos Altos mine is located in the mountains of northern Mexico, about 220 km west of Chihuahua City. The site is mainly an underground operation, supplemented by a small open pit. Higher‑grade ore is processed through a conventional mill, while lower‑grade ore is treated through limited heap‑leaching. Gold and silver are recovered using the Merrill‑Crowe process, and the on‑site refinery produces gold‑silver doré bars.
