Operating since 1990, the Plutonic Gold Mine is located in the Archaean Plutonic Marymia Greenstone Belt, 800 kilometres northeast of Perth, and has produced close to 6 million ounces of gold from both open pit and underground operations. The mine currently produces from an underground operation, open pit material from Plutonic East and low grade stockpiles. The operations include the Plutonic underground mine, numerous open pit projects including the Plutonic Main Pit push-back project, the Hermes Gold Mine (open pit projects at Hermes and interests in tenements within the Bryah Basin JV ranging from 70%-80%), and a central mill.
