Report summary

The accompanying analysis considers the production of copper cathode at the Radomiro Tomic SxEw facility from oxide and low grade sulphide ore mined from the Radomiro Tomic (RT) open pit. The plant has capacity of ~310kt/a SxEw Cu. According to Codelco's 2017 PND, Radomiro Tomic is expected to process oxide ore until 2025 when this ore is exhausted. After this year cathode production is expected to be sourced from treating low grade oxide ore in dump leaching until 2040 and since 2027 copper cathode is also expected from treating low grade primary (50%) and secondary (50%) sulphide via bioleaching.
