Report summary
The Red Lake operation is an Archean gold camp located in north-western Ontario, Canada. The operation consists of the Red Lake, Campbell, Cochenour and the recently acquired Bateman mine. Evolution Mining acquired the operation from Newmont in 2020, after which it committed to a significant investment in capital development and exploration, to recapitalise the asset and materially reduce the cost base of the operation. The strategic acquisition of Battle North Gold's Bateman Gold Project in 2021, provided a third processing plant. The Campbell Mill treats both refractory and non-refractory ore, whilst the Red Lake Mill only treats non-refractory ore. The new Bateman Mill is currently on care and maintenance.
