Ridgeway gold mine
Report summary
Ridgeway is an underground copper-gold block cave mine which is located 3 kilometres north west of Newcrest Mining's Cadia Hill open pit mine in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of Newcrest 's 100% owned Cadia operations. Remaining reserves and resources have been incorporated into the Cadia asset profile. In March 2016. Newcrest announced it was placing Ridgeway on care and maintenance indefinitely as its focus shifted to the successful ramp up of the Cadia East block caves.
