Report summary

Sabinas is a skarn deposit and operates an underground mine and two flotation plants with a total capacity of 3.7kt/d ore. Plant 1 (1.5kt/d) processes Pb Zn ores with low Cu grades from massive sulphide veins while plant 2 (2.2kt/d) processes the skarn Cu Zn ore with low Pb grades. The final products are copper lead and zinc concentrates.The lead and zinc concentrates are usually sent to the Met Mex metallurgical complex in Torreon and owned by Peñoles.
