Operated by Tecnología Extremeña del Litio S.L, San José is a lithium mineral project located in Extremadura, Spain. The project is a joint venture between Infinity Lithium Corporation Ltd (75%) and Valoriza Mineria S.L.U (25%). An October 2021 scoping study considers an underground mine at the Valdeflórez deposit and a 19.5ktpa lithium hydroxide production facility less than 2km away at Cáceres. The recent cancellation of a project licence is currently under appeal. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
