Report summary
The De Bron Merriespruit (DBM) project is located adjacent to the Beatrix mine in the Free State province of South Africa, both are owned by Sibanye. The DBM project is planned as an underground operation utilising conventional stoping methods. The process plant is anticipated to comprise a carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. The DBM project was consolidated into the Southern Free State (SOFS) project, including DBM, Bloemhoek, Hakkies, and Robijn projects into one mining right in June 2017. The accompanying analysis only includes the project scope of the DBM project.
