Sunrise nickel project
Report summary
Clean TeQ is developing the Sunrise Nickel Cobalt Scandium Project in central NSW. The company is undertaking a bankable feasibility study (BFS) which is due for completion in Q4 2017. According to Clean TeQ the BFS will assess the economics of a large scale project producing battery grade nickel and cobalt sulphates with a view to supply the lithium ion battery industry. The company also expects to produce scandium oxide as a by-product. Clean TeQ plans to use its own Clean-iX (ion-exchange extraction and purification processing) technology at the site.
