Report summary
Tampakan project now fully owned by Alcantara Group through Sagittarius Mines Inc is located in southern Mindanao in the Philippines. The project has suffered a series of delays since 2010 due to regulatory and political hurdles. The project was further shelved due to an open pit mining ban imposed by DENR in April 2017. The project is now looking to commence production in 2026.
