Toroparu Gold Mine Project
Report summary
Toroparu is a gold deposit with silver and copper as by-products. The Toroparu project is planned as an open pit operation utilising conventional mining methods with underground mining contributing from year 10 onwards. Total mine life is estimated at 24 years with a Life of Mine (LOM) open pit strip ratio of 5.99:1 with production expected in 2024. The process plant will be constructed in two phases. Throughout Phase 1, the processing capacity of the plant will be 7000tpd. It will comprise a gravity and CIL circuit. After 10 years, a 7000tpd parallel flotation plant will be added. The mine will produce Au-Ag dore and Au-Cu concentrate.
