Report summary
The Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) started operating in 2013 and was officially opened in 2015. The park has evolved into a fully integrated nickel value chain facility spanning from mining to finished stainless steel manufacturing. There are currently 53 RKEF lines operating in IMIP with an installed annual capacity of around 4.2 Mt Nickel Pig Iron (NPI), 4 Mt stainless steel billet and 7 Mt carbon steel. Wood Mackenzie covers NPI productions from 14 operations in Tsingshan Morowali.
