Report summary

Following depletion of the Uchaly open pit in 2007, ore is mined from four underground mines, namely, Uzel'ginsky, Uchaly, Talganskoye and Molodezhny. In 2008 pre-stripping at a new open pit mine, Zapadno-Ozerny commenced with ore production following in 2010 and closing in 2011. Ore from the operating mines feeds the Uchaly concentrator. Uchaly produces separate copper and zinc concentrates. In 2014, the company reported production of 93kt of zinc in zinc concentrate and 65kt of copper in copper concentrate.
