Whabouchi - Lithium mine project

Operated by New Nemaska Lithium Ltd, Whabouchi is a lithium mineral project located in Quebec, Canada. Whabouchi, meaning “White Mountain” in the local Cree language, is a combined open pit and underground spodumene mine which is currently under construction. Whabouchi is expected to produce a nominal 215ktpy of 6.25% Li2O spodumene concentrate over a 33-year mine life to supply an integrated refinery capable of producing up to 37ktpy of battery grade lithium hydroxide.
