Yaramoko gold mine

Report summary

The mine is 200km south west of Ougadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Yaramoko is a high-grade underground mining operation. First gold pour was announced in May 2016 with commercial production declared in October of the same year, ahead of schedule and under budget. In addition, a 350t/d five year mining operation at Bagassi South between 2019 and 2023 is planned. An mill expansion project to 1.1kt/d was completed in 2018. Average annual mill throughput is 1.1kt/d (400kt/a) at a head grade of 12g/t of gold. Mine life is estimated at 6 years with average annual gold production of 100koz.
