Report summary
The asset report for the Iraq Southeast Turkey Foldbelt basin has been archived. There has been no exploration drilling since 2018 and the last discovery in the basin was in 2015. Lack of payments to IOCs for exports and the low oil price has forced companies to stall capital investments and delay exploration commitments. The report below details the historic exploration performance only. A comprehensive update will be carried out if and when activity necessitates it.
