Demand for oil and gas will remain for decades to come. How we meet that demand is to be determined. Exploration alone cannot fill the supply gap. Conversion of sub-commercial resources to reserves will be an essential part of meeting expected future oil and gas demand. Of the conventional resource found between 1970 and 2020, 488 billion boe remains undeveloped. This includes 340 billion boe of gas currently sitting on the sidelines. Across the globe, it represents a huge opportunity.
