Agreement reached on Kurdistan's oil exports
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
The interim agreement reached between Iraq's federal government and Kurdistan Regional Government means the Kurdistan region will receive 17% of the federal budget in return for a share of oil exports. Operators in the region should now benefit from regular payments for oil exports, and by increases in production for those with excess capacity. However, investors will remain wary, as there is no guarantee that this interim agreement will lead to a long-term resolution.
